On my mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Washington Everett Mission, I learned many values and principles that I have applied to all aspects of my life. My work ethic, personal confidence, and perseverance were tested and improved daily. I served with my absolute hardest effort and loved every moment of it. For a season, I was responsible for training and supervising other Sister missionaries. Through this experience, I gained my perspective on what it means to be a successful innovative thinker and leader. I learned principles that guide my philosophy that to lead is to serve. I strive to serve all that I meet.

I am worked closely with my publisher, and advertising director to create advertising opportunities for the community. I am responsible for managing advertising campaigns, designing advertisements, and coordinating with many companies in the Upper Valley Area.

April 2013- July 2014: Assistant Marketing Director
As the assistant marketing director, my responsibilities took a large shift. I was promoted to a position of leadership and lead a small team. I was responsible for the public relations of Chickfila in the greater Houston area. I contacted local booster clubs, schools, and businesses promoting our product and catering services. I worked closely with the local college to provide weekly catering. I planned and executed a weekly family nights which included local performers, crafts, and educational entertainers. I ran monthly large events, including concerts with over 3,000 attendees, fine dining experiences, and creating events for major supporters of the company. I was responsible for representing the company in the community and maintaining a positive image for the company. I loved coordinating events, working with vendors, and executing perfectly planned occasions. My team and I interviewed, hired, and assisted in payroll for store entertainment. I also pioneered a social media marketing program, I created Twitter and Instagram accounts, redesigned the Facebook account, and gained a net followership of 2000 people. My in-store marketing team and I increased profits for the summer of 2013 by 20%. We attribute this to general staff training, the social media programs, and increased word-of-mouth. With all of this change, my love for our guests is still what drives me. I have grown to have deep relationships with our customers and it is the personal relationships that I truly believe made our company successful in the past year.
January 2013-April 2013: Marketing Team Member
During my time as a marketing team member, I continued all of my previous responsibilities and added a marketing emphasis. I grew relationships with regular customers and made it a goal to recognize returning customers. I was also trained in the marketing philosophy of Chickfila. I began to work out of store, representing Chickfila at schools, community events, and local businesses. When in store, I focused on the customer experience and creating an environment that entices our customers to return.
May 2012 – January 2013: Team Member
My responsibilities included insuring a positive experience for guest in our store. This included, but was not limited to: accurately and politely taking orders, creating a clean environment that was adequately supplied, and working to quickly provide food for customers in the dining room, as well as in the drive thru. It was during this time as a team member that I realized my love for providing customers with excellent customer service. Our store strived to be the best Chickfila. We consistently performed in the top 20% of fast food restaurants in the nation. The success fed my desire to improve and maintain this setting for our guests.
